"I would rather invest on skincare products than cosmetics".

A question popped out to my mind suddenly. Why? Because having a good skincare gives you a healthy skin and having a healthy skin naturally gives you a beautiful face. That way, you don't have to spend money on foundations, blushers and eyeliners. I totally agree with her statement.

However, she gives another statement again.

"Make-up doesn't make one insecure".

Initially, I disagreed with her statement. But after reading her explaination, I found that what she said was right. Having a good skin doesn't mean you absolutely don't need to use make-up right?

Make-up are used to enhance your already natural beauty. Brides uses them to look beautiful on their wedding day and professionals uses them to make themselves presentable. Are you trying to say they are insecure because they uses make-up? I hope not.

Fake and artificial are the two things I heard about people accussing women who uses make-up. But wait, how is she fake and artificial when YOU can also see she uses make-up? Unless she's shameless enough to say that it's natural or "Really!? I don't know why my cheeks are so red too".

Right about that. Make-up doesn't mean you are insecure. It's just a action of trying to make yourself MORE presentable. Admit if you're using make-up because your friends might hate you for not admitting. :D

My review on ANTM Cycle 12

America's Next Top Model Cycle 12

The controversy that lasted for a few weeks was already dead.
There was Allison, the shy big eye, bunny tooth girl who gradually transformed into a glam-panther girl who is full of self-confidence.

And there was Teyona, a woman who possessed both photogenic and a standard requirement for a model.

Both have a unique and different style and look.

Hate to break the news but Teyona won the ANTM. I was like, "Oh! Allison was way better with those cute lil' big big eyes". Teyona was just another typical model. Just because she "wanted it more" doesn't mean she make a good model. Yes, she gave good consistency photo shoots every week like

BUT, it's only good, not best. On the other hand, Allison gave a variety of look every week and have got the most improved photo shoots since episode 1. Giving the most instant beauty, Allison present...

AND ALSO

Allison also attain something that no other models have. Innovative. Enough of Allison's obsession with nose bleeds and her height. Allison has this unique feature on her face that stays long on our mind. You can remember her seasons after seasons without forgetting the details of her face.

Personality. Another important factor you need to have in modelling industry. Teyona is, well not as bitchy as Aminet, who got eliminated during the final episode leaving Allison and Teyona to compete for the ANTM. BUT Teyona doesn't have this "Yes, can you please stop gossiping about how fake is her boobs" kind of personality. She have this "Yes! Her boobs must have gone under the knife before!" personality. Allison, instead got a "Yes, she's a slut but look whose talking" kind of personality.

After watching this show, I realize that the stage can only accept youthfulness and light. Celia, another great model which got eliminated before Aminat lack of one of the factor. Youth. The stage cannot compromised a model whose age is catching up on her. Unless, her photo shoots are unique and different. Celia have got a model feature. That is down and below from her neck onwards.

Yes! This photo shoot is flawless and sexy. I could practically see it in a magazine which only curvy model are allowed. That is, if we cover Celia's face. I know this is harsh but her face is just... "Hmm... please rewind her face a little few years back would be better".

Now, can you understand why she got eliminated?

Next, Aminat. I have no comments on her. She has got a nice curvy body, able to do commercials and runway but... I think she just couldn't grasp the ability to catch the audience attention and seriously need to do something about her voice... And among the few girls, she is really quite bitchy. She wanted the ANTM title more than any other girls but I have no idea why Tyra eliminate her. I guess Aminat is not as good as giving consistency photo shoots like Teyona or not as unique like Allison. Despite me giving so much negative comment about Aminat, she still have some really good photo shoots due to her body.

Hmm... Aminat sure does produce some good photos. Well, at least this girl is the 2nd runner-up for ANTM.

Anyways, we just can't ignore the fact that Teyona have became the ANTM for cycle 12. Allison IS the runner-up.

Thinking that Allison became the runner-up just keep bugging my mind. It's like a itch that I cannot scratch. Oh well, cries.
